NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA FOR 11th DECEMBER 2024
Dear Councillor,
You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Helpringham Parish Council, which will be held on Wednesday 11th December 2024 commencing at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held in the memorial hall.
There will be a ten minute public forum prior to the commencement of business from 7:00pm – 7:10pm. During this time members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. The Council may choose not to answer any question; a response may instead be given in writing. Matters raised may be added to an agenda for a future meeting. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the Parish Council meeting after the public session but are not permitted to speak during the meeting.

To resolve to accept reasons for absence.
3.0 DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & DISPENSATIONS
To receive any declarations of interest and consider any requests for dispensations in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
4.0 SIGNING OF THE MINUTES
To resolve to accept the Clerk’s notes of the last Parish Council Meeting held on Wednesday 13th November 2024 as true and correct minutes of the meeting.
5.0 REPORT FROM COUNTY and DISTRICT COUNCILLORS
6.0 CLERK’S REPORT ON MATTERS OUTSTANDING
6.1 To check whether the village grit bins required filling.
6.2 Power for Christmas tree.
7.0 To resolve on whether the Council will move into closed session to consider the following confidential staffing matter in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.
Should this resolution be passed the public and press will be required to leave the meeting at this stage
7.1 To resolve to agree the clerk’s annual pay rise following the receipt of the National Joint Council for Local Government Services rates of pay applicable from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025.
