ANNUAL PARISH MEETING

Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on Wednesday 9 May, 2018

Present: Cllr Mr G. Hotchkin – Chairman, Cllrs J Frizzell, G Frizzell, M Robinson, Cllr R Spencer and the Clerk – Adrian Illingworth

Cllr Mr G. Hotchkin opened the meeting at 7pm.

1. Welcome

The Chairman welcomed all present

2. Apologies.

Apologies received from Cllrs Tarry, Ogden and Johnson. Reasons for absence noted and accepted by members present

3. Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting 2017 (18/01)

The minutes of the meeting held 10 May 2017 were accepted as a true record. Proposed by Cllr J Frizzell and seconded by Cllr Robinson. All members in favour. Minutes signed by the Chairman.

4. Presentation of reports by village organisations (18/02)

Cllr J Frizzell informed members she had resigned from the Playing Field committee but Clls Robinson and G Frizzell still in situte.

Cllr J Frizzell explained the monies given to the playing field by the Council had made a real difference to their finances. Cllr G Frizzell explained costs are increasing but income is reducing so the committee are managing on a year to year basis. The Committee are planning a second fund raiser later in the year.

Cllr Robinson to contact someone to be a representative of the bowls club. He also informed the meeting material from the car park floor is being thrown on to the greens. Clerk to report to PCSO.

All members agreed that for future Annual meetings various organisations to be sent notice. This was proposed by Cllr J Frizzell and seconded by Cllr Hotchkin. All members in favour

5. Personal Representation (18/03)

No members of the public present.

As there was no further business Cllr Hotchkin closed the meeting at 7.20pm. It was proposed by Cllr Robinson that should members of the public show, and they had topics to raise, the Parish Council meeting be suspended to allow them to speak. This was seconded by the Chairman and agreed by all members.
