NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA FOR WEDNESDAY 11th FEBRUARY 2026 

Dear Councillor, 

You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Helpringham Parish Council, which will be held on 11th February 2026 commencing at 7pm. The meeting will be held in the Memorial Hall. 

There will be a ten minute public forum prior to the commencement of business from 7.00-7.10pm. During this time members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. The Council may choose not to answer any question; a response may instead be given in writing. Matters raised may be added to an agenda for a future meeting. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the Parish Council meeting after the public session but are not permitted to speak during the meeting.

163/26.1 To resolve to accept following documents presented by the RFO for the period 1/4/25-11/2/26: 

• Bank Reconcilliation
• Actual v Budget Figures

163/26.2 To resolve to approve payments presented at the meeting:

164/26 Village Trees 

• To discuss the quote received for the removal of the dead cherry tree on the junction of East Street and Hale Road 
• To discuss the variety of tree to be planted by the Circle of Trees project in replacement of the dead cherry tree.

To receive the cemetery report from the Cemetery Officer Cllr G. Frizzell. 

166/26 HIGHWAY MATTERS 

To discuss Highway matters including: 

• Report from village walk round on 9/2/26 with Rowan Smith from LCC Highways 
• To discuss extending the 30mph on Station Road to the railway bridge 
• Other urgent Highways matters
