NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA FOR THURSDAY 15th JANUARY 2026 

Dear Councillor, 

You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Helpringham Parish Council, which will be held on 15th January 2026 commencing at 7pm. The meeting will be held in the Memorial Hall. 

There will be a ten minute public forum prior to the commencement of business from 7.00-7.10pm. During this time members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. The Council may choose not to answer any question; a response may instead be given in writing. Matters raised may be added to an agenda for a future meeting. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the Parish Council meeting after the public session but are not permitted to speak during the meeting.

• Highways correspondence re village walk-round and footpath and road issues. 
• Proposed TRO Highgate/Station Road junction – no update 
• FixMyStreet ref 2853416 24/8/25 – Bollards on Station Road. 16/9/25 update – work issued to delivery gang – work still not done. 
• FixMyStreet ref 8507564 5/12/25 – potholes on Engine Drove, Helpringham Fen no update. 
• FixMyStreet ref 2868438 9/1/26 – overhanging hedges around railway bridge on Station Road. 

155/26 MATTERS AFFECTING THE VILLAGE/CORRESPONDENCE 

To discuss correspondence received and other matters affecting the village including:

• Lincolnshire Reservoir Community Liaison Group. 
• Grass cutting – update on other maintenance required. 
• Community Resilience Group – update. 
• Litter picking equipment.

7/1/26 – NKDC Food Waste Caddy delivery update – commencing 19/1/26. 

7/1/26 – LCC – report re proposed budget for 2026/27. 

5/1/26 – LALC – annual training scheme membership. 

156/26 Date and time of the next meeting – Tuesday 11th February 2026 commencing at 7pm.
