NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA FOR WEDNESDAY 8th APRIL 2026 

Dear Councillor, 

You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Helpringham Parish Council, which will be held on 8th April 2026 commencing at 7.30pm. The meeting will be held in the Memorial Hall. 

There will be a ten minute public forum prior to the commencement of business from 7.30-7.40pm. During this time members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. The Council may choose not to answer any question; a response may instead be given in writing. Matters raised may be added to an agenda for a future meeting. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the Parish Council meeting after the public session but are not permitted to speak during the meeting.

07/27 FINANCE 

07/27.1 Final accounts for year ending 31/3/26 - To resolve to accept the final accounts for the year ended 31/3/26 including the Actual v budget figures, bank reconciliation, payments over £100. 

07/27.2 To resolve to accept following documents presented by the RFO for the period 1/4-8/4/26: 

• Bank reconciliation

• Actual v Budget figures

07/27.3 To resolve to approve payments presented at the meeting:

08/27 ASSET REGISTER – to resolve to adopt the asset register for year ended 31/3/26. 

09/27 CEMETERY and GRASSCUTTING 

To receive reports from Cllr George Frizzell. 

10/27 HIGHWAY MATTERS 

To discuss Highway matters including: 

• Update on request for extension of the 30mph on Station Road to the railway bridge. 
• Update on B1394 road damage. 
• Update following letter of complaint sent to Gareth Davies MP, Mayor of Lincolnshire and LCC Chief Executive. 
• Update on FixMyStreet issues. 

11/27 AGENDA ITEMS FOR ANNUAL PARISH MEETING and ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING 

12/27 MATTERS AFFECTING THE VILLAGE/CORRESPONDENCE 

To discuss correspondence received and other matters affecting the village including: 

• Cllr Volunteering Schemes 
• NKDC – Empty Homes Project 

13/27 Date and time of the next meeting – ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING Wednesday 13/5/26 2026 commencing at 7.30pm. All meetings will be held in the Memorial Hall, Helpringham.
