Combined County Authority Mayoral Election for the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority
1. An election is to be held for a Combined County Authority Mayor for the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority.
2. Nomination papers can be obtained from the office of the Combined County Authority Returning Officer, Municipal Offices, Town Hall Street, Grimsby, DN31 1HU, during the times stated below or online at https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/your-council/elections-and-voting/election-dates-and-results/greater-lincolnshire-combined-county-authority-election/
3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Combined County Authority Returning Officer at Municipal Offices, Town Hall Street, Grimsby, DN31 1HU between 10am and 4pm on any working day after publication of this notice but no later than 4pm on Wednesday 2nd April 2025. Appointments can be arranged by email elections@nelincs.gov.uk or by telephone (01472) 324161
4. The £5,000 deposit can be paid by legal tender or by means of a banker’s draft from a drawer which carries on business as a banker in the United Kingdom, or in the form of an online BACS payment. Funds must be cleared and with the Combined County Authority Returning Officer during the nomination period, and by 4pm Wednesday 2nd April 2025, before the nomination will be considered valid.
5. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 1st May 2025.
6. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at North Kesteven District Council, Council Offices, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, NG34 7EF by 12 midnight on Friday 11th April 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
7. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at North Kesteven District Council, Council Offices, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, NG34 7EF by 5pm on Monday 14th April 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
8. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at North Kesteven District Council, Council Offices, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, NG34 7EF by 5pm on Wednesday 23rd April 2025.
